Materials
Wire - (22 or 24 gauge)
Tri Star Beads
Acrylic Round Faeceted Beads
Leaf Bead
Glass Base
Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
Tacky Glue
Filling
Wire Cutter
Ruler
STEP 1
Cut 25 pieces of wire of 30 inches.
STEP 2
Fold wire in half.
STEP 3
Insert 1 tri bead and slide it to the middle of the wire.
Insert 2 round faceted beads, one on each side.
STEP 4
Twist wire about half inch.
This is the first flower.
STEP 5
Insert 1 round bead, 1 tri bead
and another round bead to one side.
STEP 6
Fold the wire leaving about half inch.
STEP 7
Twist the wire. This is the second flower.
STEP 8
Add 3 beads to the other side as show in the photo.
1 round bead, 1 tri bead and another round bead.
STEP 9
Fold about half inch as shown in the photo.
STEP 10
Twist the wire.
STEP 11
Twist the wire again about half inch down.
STEP 12
Continue the same process, adding the flowers.
STEP 13
Continue adding beads until you have 7 flowers
STEP 14
Add the leaves. Continue making branches.
Make 25 branches.
STEP 15
Twist 2 branches together as shown in photo
STEP 16
Continue putting together all the branches.
After you finish putting all the branches together,
give form to the tree.
STEP 17
Fold the wire and form a circle
STEP 18
Choose a base for your project. I chose a glass base
that I found in Hobby Lobby.
STEP 19
Add a layer of glue to the bottom of the base.
Note - When you start adding the glue
and the filling you can't sop until you finish. You have to hold
the tree at the same time you are adding glue and filling.
STEP 20
Add a layer of filling
STEP 21
Add a layer of glue and place the tree root on top of the glue.
Put glue on top of the root and add filling. Continue
alternating glue and filling until you get to the top of the base.
STEP 22
Let it dry before doing the next step.
STEP 23
After is dry, add tacky glue to the top of the filling.
This will hold the filling in place
